Personal:
38 year old single male that works in the medical field and has just discovered (over last year or so) a love for running. I am trying to get connected with running groups in the Seattle area and would ultimately love to find that special person who loves the outdoors and running like I do.

| | First run since the Rock and Roll marathon in Seattle on Saturday. This was my first ever marathon and I wanted to make sure I would not get injured so I just went for a short 3 miler. It felt pretty good with not much fatigue at all. Going to ease back in and then get on a real training program for the Seattle Marathon in November. I want to see how much time I can knock off if I really dedicate myself. Sasha.....any suggestions are welcome! | Comments(1) |

Run of the Mill 5K (3.1 Miles) 00:24:23, Place overall: 272, Place in age division: 31 | | First competitive 5K. Quite different from the marathon and now know that if I want to do better at these short distances that I will need to start doing some speed work. Felt like I was just getting comfortable and the race was over! I have much to learn....but at 7:51/mile average it was not bad. Especially when the marathon was only 2 weeks ago. It was a beautiful, sunny, Seattle day with race time temps in the low 70's.
